In 2006, Colon & Rectal Surgical (CRS) announced that Lynn M. O'Connor, MD, joined the medical group to direct CRS's new Women's Colorectal Care Program.
"Dr. O'Connor's solid foundation of clinical skills and research is a perfect fit for our established practice," stated Mark W. Dobriner, MD. "Dr. O'Connor focuses on women's colorectal conditions and therapies, assisted by Christine Kelly, RPA-C, who has been with CRS for years," said Dr. Dobriner.

The Women's Colorectal Care Program at CRS is a milestone in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and other colon and rectal issues among the female population. "Our goal is to make the process more comfortable for women, to encourage them to receive regular colonoscopies and to seek treatment when necessary, by offering examinations and treatment by a female physician and staff in a private setting," Dr. O'Connor explains. Dr. O'Connor joins Michael D. Moseson, MD, FACS, FASCRS, Mark W. Dobriner, MD, FACS, FASCRS, and Owen T. Su, MD, FACS, FASCRS, in the expansion of patient services at CRS.
Dr. O'Connor received her Medical Degree from the Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA and a Masters in Public Health from Yale University, New Haven, CT. She completed her residency in General Surgery and Radiation Oncology at leading hospitals and completed sub-specialty training in a Colon and Rectal Surgery fellowship at Georgia Colon and Rectal Surgical Associates.
Dr. O'Connor has conducted lectures on colorectal issues and has published articles in various medical journals. She is a member of prestigious professional associations and is the recipient of awards for her cancer research, outstanding leadership and achievements in the medical field.
