Therapeutic Services

    Hemorrhoids

    • Rubber Band Ligation - minimally invasive, rapid treatment of internal hemorrhoids.
    • Infrared Coagulation - minimally invasive, rapid treatment of internal hemorrhoids.
    • Injection Sclerotherapy - rapid, effective treatment for hemorrhoidal bleeding. Safe for patients on anticoagulants (blood thinners).

    • Procedure for Prolapsing Hemorrhoids (PPH, aka. Stapled Hemorrhoidectomy) - minimally invasive technology for the treatment of protruding, bleeding internal hemorrhoids. Surgery is performed internally sparing the sensitive anal skin, resulting in the least painful, most rapid recovery from hemorrhoid surgery.
    • Excision of Painful (Thrombosed) Hemorrhoids - rapid technique to relieve the pain and swelling associated with severely painful hemorrhoids. Most effective when performed within the first 72 hours of onset. When necessary, thrombosed hemorrhoids are excised under local anesthesia, during the first visit for pain.
